Here's What You Missed!
Couldn't make it to our event on January 13th? No worries. Read below to catch up on all the details. Our event began as guest began arriving by 8:30am to the Adria Hotel in Bayside. It was pretty early for most, but the coffee was so highly caffeinated that we all had no trouble staying awake. Our first speaker was Todd Sumney from Realty Executives International. Todd Sumney is the Vice President of Marketing over in Arizona and we were very excited that he came to New York to present the latest in marketing that Realty Executives has to offer. He discussed the tools now provided through mobile marketing and from a general consensus a lot of the agents were extremely interested in this new product.
To follow Todd was the United States Postal Service discussing the Every Door Direct Mail that USPS is now offering. Its presenters Peter Hatzikyriakou and Vincent Ferrante did a great informing all the agents to the inexpensive new postcard mailers. You won't believe this but postcards for 16cents. Sounds like a great idea.
Our last speaker before the break was George Eliopoulos from MWB Commercial Capitol. George is such a captivating speaker and gathered quite a few laughs from the audience as he discussed his views on commercial real estate.
Following our break we had three speakers lined up. The first was Steve Kessler from Sunrise Premiums. His company was discussing using travel incentives to obtain clients. From what I gathered, who doesn't love the opportunity to travel. Following Steve was R&M Appraisals discussing everything about appraisals and what realtors need to know about its process and the use of comparables. To end the event Elgin Buenconsejo, from Mortgage World Bankers highlighted the impact of the new laws and regulations that are facing bankers and realtors alike. Several realtors had questions regarding these laws and he answered them without hesitation.
To conclude, Realty Executives of New York would like to thank all who attended the event and stayed during the Lunch hour to talk. We hope that everyone in attendance learned something of value and are ready to face the New Year.
